Chocolate
This page has been devoted to various reviews of chocolate brands around the world producing soy free chocolate (which, of course, is gluten free as well). I will be updating this list and adding further details in due course:
- Alter Eco Pacific
- Amedei (Tuscany – ‘some of the world’s finest chocolate – soya lecithin and gluten free’)
- Anthon Berg Assortments (Currently available at Big W, most contain canola lecithin – check label!)
- BonVita (Switzerland – Available in Australia)
- Cadbury UK (some MILK chocolates and choc-covered ice cream bars only – check label carefully – many fillings along with white and dark chocolates contain soy lecithin)
- Cocolo (Switzerland – Available in Australia)
- Enjoy Life Foods (USA)
- Theo Chocolate (USA)
- Slitti (some products contain soy lecithin) (Tuscany, available in Australian Slitti Chocolate Shops and online)

The organic Swiss brand Rapunzel is soy-free. They’re anti-genetic modification, and most soy is G-M these days.

Whey Out Chocolate is a company that makes gluten and soy free chocolate. They will be opening their online shop in March. If their product contains either soy or gluten, it is clearly marked. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks very promising. Happy snacking!

There is a brand here in the U.S. called Enjoy Life, and they have amazing chocolate bars. My personal favorite is the dark chocolate. Check them out here: http://www.enjoylifefoods.com/ In addition to being soy free and gluten free, they are also free of all the 8 most common allergens: Wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, milk (casein), and eggs. Their stuff is very yummy.

I have been trying to track where I can get a hold of their products over here. Their chocolate is good, I had some last time I was over there. Some of their new products have had some rave reviews from what I hear as well. I’ll definitely add the brand to the list.
